রাজু : সড়ক দুর্ঘটনা এখন দেশের অন্যতম বড় সমস্যা। এ থেকে উত্তরণের উপায় কী?
সাজু : সবার আগে ট্রাফিক আইন মেনে চলতে হবে।
রাজু : শুধু আইন মানলেই কি দুর্ঘটনা কমে যাবে?
সাজু : না। দক্ষ চালক নিয়োগ, নিয়মিত প্রশিক্ষণ এবং যানবাহনের ফিটনেস নিশ্চিত করাও জরুরি।
রাজু : অতিরিক্ত গতিতে গাড়ি চালানোর বিষয়টি কতটা দায়ী?
সাজু : এটি দুর্ঘটনার অন্যতম প্রধান কারণ। তাই নির্ধারিত গতিসীমা মেনে চলা উচিত।
রাজু : পথচারীদের কী দায়িত্ব রয়েছে?
সাজু : জেব্রা ক্রসিং ও ফুট ওভারব্রিজ ব্যবহার করতে হবে এবং ট্রাফিক সংকেত মেনে চলতে হবে।
রাজু : সরকারের কী কী পদক্ষেপ নেওয়া প্রয়োজন?
সাজু : সড়কের উন্নয়ন, কার্যকর তদারকি এবং আইন ভঙ্গকারীদের বিরুদ্ধে কঠোর ব্যবস্থা নিতে হবে।
রাজু : গণসচেতনতা কি এ ক্ষেত্রে গুরুত্বপূর্ণ?
সাজু : অবশ্যই। গণমাধ্যম, শিক্ষাপ্রতিষ্ঠান ও সামাজিক সংগঠনের মাধ্যমে সচেতনতা বাড়াতে হবে।
রাজু : শিক্ষার্থীরা কিভাবে ভূমিকা রাখতে পারে?
সাজু : তারা সচেতনতামূলক কর্মসূচিতে অংশ নিতে পারে এবং অন্যদের ট্রাফিক আইন মানতে উৎসাহিত করতে পারে।
রাজু : চালক ও যাত্রী—উভয়েরই কি দায়িত্ব রয়েছে?
সাজু : অবশ্যই। চালককে সতর্কভাবে গাড়ি চালাতে হবে, আর যাত্রীকেও নিয়ম মেনে চলতে হবে।
রাজু : তাহলে সড়ক দুর্ঘটনা প্রতিরোধে সবার সম্মিলিত উদ্যোগই সবচেয়ে জরুরি।
সাজু : ঠিক তাই। সরকার, চালক, পথচারী ও সাধারণ মানুষের সম্মিলিত সচেতনতাই নিরাপদ সড়ক নিশ্চিত করতে পারে।
